Two passions stand out when thinking about what drives the modus operandi of the team here at Indigo Music Review. The first of these is a passion for good music, or I suppose, just music in general. It’s hard to break something as intricate as music down to a small paragraph, but that in itself shows its’ cultural and personal significance to many. For some, music saved their lives. For others, music reminds them of good times. Whatever your relationship to music may be, it all draws us here together.

The second of these passions is writing. Music and writing go hand in hand, as music requires at least some form of it. Having this intertwined relationship gives writing about music a different sense of understanding. Given these passions, what better to do than start a music blog?

Thus, Indigo Music Review was created in 2022. Starting with just one college student eager for the world to hear his opinions on his favorite music. As the blog grows, so do ambitions to reach beyond the digital world. Stay tuned…
